breakfast was funny at the staff table today. first, this kid comes over to the nurse and just says "mark", in a sort of robotic voice. being intuitive, susan, the nurse, assumes this means "my name is mark. may i please have my morning medication?" and digs it up for him. he pops the pill in his mouth and leaves. we ponder this, and decide

mark is such a nice boy, beth. today he told me my hair looked real pretty. i think he is the only boy i have never been annoyed by. haha.

i look forward to possibly seeing you soon! i will be here off and on over break, back and forth between home and ottawa, but we will work something out!
