Soccer Stars and...racism is unfortunately still alive and well

Edward's 1st round of their Soccer tournament was this weekend.  They had three games, 12:30 on Saturday and 8:00am and 2:00pm on Sunday.  They won all three! 10-0, 6-1 and 4-1 if I remember correctly.  The 1st two were great games.  Unfortunately the last one left something to be desired.  The team we played was VERY aggresive, there was a lot of ( Read more... )

That pisses me off SO MUCH. I think you should query some of the other players - because you know that little asshole said it more than once, and in front of his teammates. If some of them corroborate, maybe you can at least get the racist sat out for the same number of games.

That's disgusting. And that should clearly expose the parents you want to make sure you avoid, or shove into the pool. Shove into the pool is my vote.

Maybe this league should employ a no tolence policy like in the school system. If both parties participate in shoving, both parties are suspended. $250 is very steep!!!

I wonder if this would be of interest to your community. Is it newsworthy? Could you get a reporter on it? Could Guy write a letter to the editor? I agree that the other boys would be aware of what was going on. I wonder if this incident could use some sunshine. Of course, you have to be careful about potentially hurting Edward. Still. juli
