What's that blue glow?

OK, so note in this (out of focus) picture how there seems to be a...a....GLOW in the stairwell...

The blue is very nice...nothing overpowering about it but certainly a color which adds life and freshness which beige does not. Very good!

When Steve is sanding, doesn't he wear goggles (for the eyes) or a filter (for the mouth and nose)? Especially if you suspect lead paint? Just asking so that I know what I should do when I tackle such projects.

As I said, a stairwell makes a good project because of the lack of things to move, etc. So we expect to do that once our storage is under control.

He's wearing his glasses....I suppose if it were a bigger sanding project, he'd wear a mask....I did when I sanded in the kitchen before painting it.

Oh, and that cat in the pic? That's Haydn, who you helped name when you found her Haydn under your chair in Pierceville....
