My theory has always been you don't have to be good at something to enjoy doing it. lol I love the Janis Joplin impersonation. And how funny you're having so much fun with that iPod. Keep singing, girl. ;)

I was ten years old and living in California when RFK was killed. Our family did not know of it until the next morning. We had just got our first color TV, the black and white set was relegated to my room. Being an early riser, I woke and turned on *my* TV and saw and heard Edwin Newman give the news. By this time my dad was stirring. I told him. I am pretty sure my parents both went to work that day, but don't think much got done.

Hee hee...why do you think my stereo is in the kitchen? Every spatula and spoon is a microphone, baby. I am a kitchen supa-star! And even those who love me best will say my singing sucks. I cause pain. Yet the singing chef does her thing with a nightly cabaret while she whips up the gourmet mac-n-cheese and fish sticks.

Sing loud. Sing proud. And let the neighbor's dogs howl all they want. ~LA
