I love Vegas too and am sad to hear about the Stardust. I was there right before it closed for good. I lost money there, but I enjoyed the hotel

My mom loves Tom Jones too

But Colleen...NO not the fanny pack!

it's a shamful thing, but yeah, there it is. Though now I make STEVE wear it, and put my important stuff in my pockets. Which works GREAT. Yeah. Last trip I lost my ID in Caesar's.....thank god someone turned it in. I about leapt across the desk and planted one on the giant and FINE security guy.

Really sad. Particularly since it's going to be one of those awful million-acre condo/shopping/hotel complexes that's supposed to be "tasteful," but which is actually more blandly tasteless than the most garish old Vegas whorehouse-casino.

yeah...just what the strip needs, another ginormo place. I heard several stories today making reference to the fact that the Stardust was the first property that made LV accessible to Mr. and Mrs. America, and now it's moving away from that again. And I have to say, looking at prices to try to book a vacation....they're right. We can go on a cruise for what a long weekend in LV will cost us!
