That kid story is really heart-warming to my cynical soul. Isn't it always a nice surprise when you brace yourself for chaos and it doesn't happen?

And you can meme me if you want.

1 - Tell you why I friended you.
Of course...a long association from ASCF

2 - Associate you with a song/film.
OH, some kind of Doris Day comedy, I think, Like Pillow Talk.

3 - Tell a random fact about you.
Quit a desk job to start a pet sitting business. ADMIRABLE!
4 - Tell a first memory about you.
The,uh, way you enjoyed one of the ASCF parties so much that you slept thru much of it.

5 - Associate you with a character/pairing.
Mary Richards.

6 - Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
What did you study in school?
7 - Tell you my favorite user pic of yours [if it pertains].
You know, I really like the soothing sounds for baby one! It's just so....of the period.

The Mary Richards/Doris Day thing... that's nice. Thank you! The first memory of me "sleeping" through the ASCF party... well...

6 - Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
What did you study in school?

I have two psychology degrees, but I sort of majored in that by default. Started out a journalism major, but I got too intimidated by the competitive program and the people in it. I sort of wish I'd stuck with it or had gone to law school.

BOO! ;)

We always give parents positive feedback if we are impressed with how well-behaved their children are. Positive reinforcement and all.

Those houses are awesome. I suspect painted floors was a result of someone watching Trading Spaces.

Good lord. WC? LJT? CC? We've "known" each other online for a long time.

2 - Associate you with a song/film.

3 - Tell a random fact about you.
Really likes hockey. REALLY.

4 - Tell a first memory about you.
Oh, I'm sure it involved snarky PMs on one of our various boards...

5 - Associate you with a character/pairing.
Well, knowing your love for hockey, it's the Jami Gertz character on Still Standing. She'll ditch her kids to watch hockey.

6 - Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
Hm. I've always wondered about the thumb...

Ah, the thumb, the thumb. Between junior and senior years in college, my school decided to cut down my financial aid. I decided to leave my job as a summer teller which only paid $7.75 per hour and take a job at a manufacturing plant for about double that. On the third day, one of the machines malfunctioned (if you've ever seen a tarp, it was a machine that clasps grommots, or the steel holes, around the tarp).

So you know where I'm going with this, right? Essentially the middle of the thumb was missing, therefore not "reattachable", but thanks to a fabulous surgeon, a lot of time and luck in the way it was cut, a lot of it grew back and he was able to salvage the nail bud so that grew as well. It ain't pretty, but it could've been so much worse.
