The drive,  I mean.  Didn't make goal, but we're at an ok place, we understand the issues  (namely an underpowered classical station that didn't pull anywhere NEAR its own weight), and we're glad with how things went.

And glad it's over.

While you as a listener might find find drives annoying, trust me on this one......we find them more annoying.

we find them more annoying. And frustrating. And exhausting.

Which is pretty much what I figured. I'm endlessly patient with KBPS, and when I make a living wage, pledge. I'm less patient with NPR, since there is now more Annoying Stuff on the local affiliate.

And they give you the most unconditional love....I daresay even more than any person ever will, family or friend.

Damn straight.

Animal cruelty is so beyond my comprehension...really. I have a very hard time going into the SPCA and Humane Society because I want to take them all home with me. Someday I'll be that crazy doggy lady with 100 hard to place pets.
