But really...not that much happens.  Life is going along, pretty much ssdd.

Today was Friday of The Cleaning Lady, and that makes me happy.  Hap Hap Happy.  I want to give her a raise and have her in every week....

Left work early and went to get my toes done on the spur of the moment.  I'm pretty sure the pedicurist was chatting in Korean with her ( Read more... )

You've won a Major Award! I'm thrilled for you!

Do you have a bigger before picture? Your front porch is beautiful. Wish you could come help me figure out how to pretty up our front porch.

I too have no plans this weekend. What with Jay being away and all, I'm doing zero around here. I could probably call someone and wrangle an invite to a barbecue, but ehh...

Found a bigger pic....just for you! Doesn't look like the same house, does it?

We were joking about a leg lamp....one guy in the neighborhood actually has one...he lives in a big tudor at the end of the block on a roundabout....so you're tooling down the road and go "Hey...he has a LEG LAMP!"

As for prettying up stuff....I'm a flower slut. Daylilies are nice, because they are perennials and take little work. Flowers in pots, on stands, etc, make for "visual interest".

Hey thanks! See, now with the picture THAT size you can really appreciate the ugly... Ugh.

You all really outdid yourselves. You're totally deserving of a Major Award, and even a leg lamp, although a historical preservation society probably doesn't give those out. I love that your neighbor has one though! :) Wonder what Major Award he won.

We have a million daylilies in the back yard... I could probably move a few to the front this fall. They're all in dire need of being separated out.
