Damn, damn, double damn. Neil Young is going to be playing a show in Chicago tonight, AND it's his birthday, and I'm going to be... at home *cries*... watching Atlantis Squarepantis... *face palm*
Spongebob is fun and all, but in comparison to seeing Neil Young, well, it just doesn't compare at all.
Haha, some of you might wonder about the subject line, lol. Scott is my comic character. I should work on him some more.
[Update] Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I think I probably won't be able to watch television. I'll probably end up listening to Neil and sleeping, haha. Ha. *sigh* But really, $159 per ticket, $200 in most places, $600 for a pit seat, and finances being quite tight, there's no real way I could go see him. Especially considering I couldn't drive there and I wouldn't want to ask anyone else to drive me unless I got them a ticket and then Mom said she wanted to go with to see him if I ever got to but she can't drive there either. Oh to hell with it. Might as well face facts, unless he puts on a show in Paoli, I'm probably not going to be able to see him. Or, y'know, Louisville. I'd find a way to get to Louisville if he'd just do a show there. It's only an hour away, and I could drive there if I had to. The hell of it is, everyone in the family digs Neil. I wouldn't feel right about going to see him and leaving any or all of them behind. Especially Mom, because she expressed an interest in wanting to go (even though she'd rather see Ozzy and hasn't been able to see him yet :s).
