I've been trying to ignore it, but this is becoming more and more bothersome. Apparently, my time spent on the computer has messed up my wrist. Because of where my computer sits, my arm hangs off, when I use the mouse, at such an angle that my wrist gets a LOT of strain (my wrist POPS now, and it's swollen... carpel tunnel sucks so much ass. i had it really bad many years ago when i was first exposed to computers, lol. you might want to put ice on it and/or put a wrap/brace glove of some sort that will keep your wrist straightened. i had to do that for a few weeks. mine was pretty bad back then, but doesn't bug me so much anymore. (it may have a lot to do with using a touch pad now though and not a mouse)

Wrap it up tightly and use you other hand for some time (it's not as difficult as you'd think, I always do this when I eat while being online.).
Better treat it now, go to a doctor (do you have health insurance? If not, WHY THE FUCK DOES THE USA LET ITS PEOPLE GO WITHOUT A FUCKING HEALTH INSURANCE ARGH!?), if it goes chronic you'll have it forever.

Oop, forgot to answer your question. I do actually have health insurance. It bothers me as well that the US fucks people over so much though. The US just fucks its people over all the way around. :s
Anywho, my wrist is feeling better than it was. ^^, I'm surely not going to press my luck though.

Just had to go back and not use the default icon, lol! XD
