Just been told Uncle Stan's cancer is back. So unexpected. He seemed so well yesterday when I saw him. Much better than I remember seeing him for a long, long time. I can't believe it. I feel so... numb.

But I'm not going to let this stop me from going to see Steve tomorrow. Not like last time.

I'm currently reading Memoirs Of A Geisha and am absolutely in love with it. I find it a fantastic book. However, I'd really like to see what the geisha looked like in real life seeing as when I'm reading it for some reason I'm picturing her as Chihiro from Spirited Away. So weird ( Read more... )
