i still want to be a ninjaderidetenebrasOctober 6 2004, 21:21:58 UTC
i, for one, think i'd rather be deaf than blind. sight is my one good sense; all my others are... unreliable. i think, scientifically, humans (all primates really) have a greater dependance on sight than on any other sense.
and it's funny cause... my experiences with deafness and blindness are the complete opposites of yours. i knew a deaf woman once, who was the sweetest person ever. she always had the nicest smile on. and she was one of those people who are disabled, but you can't really tell. i mean- you don't feel like they're hindered by it any way. and after awhile, you don't notice their disability anymore, since they're so whole without it.
with blindness... *shudders*... even just the word blind bothers me because i used to know 2 odious, odious blind ppl. who were hateful and bitter as anything. they were SCARY.
ps: this yahoo! msger thing is funny... cause. i'm almost never on. and neither are you... (at least i never see you. maybe you're invisible though. i mean, ninja-like)

ok, i'll IM you next time i'm on. i'm always on stealth like no matter what... and i'm not on much.
i will just start randombly "shouting" out weird shit until you reply with some witty retort like, "idiot head" or something. lol ok, not witty but still. you will be. i just know it.
and... if i had been born either blind or deaf, i might have preferred deaf. but to lose sight or hearing after you've experienced... i can remember what i've seen... and some of what i've seen hasn't been a fair representation... but you can hear everything. the truth. a lie. a pause... a sigh...

BTW- This is no lie. Last night, I dreamed you came to visit in a yellow chicky costume and a blue sailor suit. What does it all mean??? I'm scared.
