*ugh* They should be happy they have a huge Wal-Mart in Polanco, why mess with the beauty left behind Teotihuacan?

Imagine, a movement like the one Tlatelolco, here? Never. There are no movements like this here because you know very well that the students in the states have more privilidges. You have to definitely read, La noche de Tlatelolco by Elena Poniatowska. You will realize that there's so much more to it than speaking-up and being heard.

No quiero pensar como esa noche las amas de casa preparaban cocteles molotov para los estudiantes. Mi madre era una de ellas.

En serio? tu mama era parte del movimiento estudiantil? Cuando anduve en las manifestaciones del 2 de Octubre y de los majestros me quede con la boca abierta.

Its so true about why there will never be movements like those here. Im going to look for that book as soon as i get some money next week. si sabes donde lo puedo encontrar let me know...

No, mi mama no era parte del movimiento estudiantil. Ella ayudo a mucho de los estudiantes, asi como lo hicieron las de mas amas de casa que vivian cerca. Mis tios si eran parte del movimiento estudiantil. Mas de eso, realmente no se mucho. Por eso es mucho mi deseo de conocer la ciudad de Mexico.

Anyway, go practice on your guitar. I don't want to hear off notes. j.k.
