i saw my first cicada this afternoon while walking the dog. hence the subject. so i guess they do exist and it is not a myth after all. they are gross but not nearly as scary as i expected in the movie version of "the attack of the killer cicadas" that i made up in my head. but it does make walking bobby a bitch because all he does is eat them and

i thought i just commented on this, but it didn't appear... maybe i wrote it in someone else's lj by accident!!

anyway this is roughly what i said:

cicadas make me sad. i heard their shells are toxic to dogs from some people, so you might wanna watch out for dr/uncle bob(by). oh but then again someone else told me that that wasn't true. so nevermind, i'm not sure. cicadas are gross.

who is mad in our prom group and why? i'm out of the loop i guess.

oh no ones really mad. just david and all of them are upset. but other than that i think this the happiest i (and everyone else) have ever been in the preparation for one of these dances
