I've seen Peter, Paul, and Mary at least three times in concert. My friends and I stood up and sang along with a couple thousand old people. They're awesome, it's true.

One of the first cassette tapes I ever got was a Peter, Paul & Mary Best Of CD. I was ten. It rocked my world. I think I even took it in to my music class when we had "music share" days. It took a while for me to realize that it was slightly abnormal...everyone else brought in Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men and TLC and I was listening to crazy hippie music.
