Investment

OK. I just made the biggest investment in my life.
Now all I need to do is to decide on which bank to approach for my loan.

3 years time... Hmmm Cross my finger and hope everything goes well

I would suggest a foreign bank which allows u to pre pay at any time without penalty charges with interest calculated on a daily rest basis.

so that any additional money u have u can put it into the loan account to reduce interest - but, u will be permitted to withdraw any extra over payment for your use if u do need.

Most of the foreign banks have this facility. Also make sure there are no monthly "maintenance fees" charged by these banks for "maintaining" the loan account. SCB charges this stupid 10 ringgit a month "maintenance fee". From what I understand HSBC and Citibank do not.

oh, my parents use this for our house! Just park their whole EPF savings in there so no interest rate i think.
