*It's early evening as Hayate's gear clicks on, the relaxing sound of Lugia's song in background as you can see him sitting cross-legged in the sand in the north end of Cianwood. He shifts about awkwardly before he gives the video feed his full attention. As for why, that would be due to the fact he currently has a Umbreon with a pink ribbon around ( Read more... )

I see you made it back to civilization~

--ah, yes. A friend of mine came to pick us all up! I can officially check "ride on the back of a dragon" off my to do list for Johto.

*shifting the camera down a bit so it shows the two Eeveelutions* Mm, they're both the type who evolve depending on what time of day it is! They're, ah... They're actually mother and son...

That's an excellent accomplishment. All of us who haven't had such an opportunity are suitably jealous.

Ah, I see. I'd heard about them, but I hadn't seen what they looked like before. They're just as cute as the others~ And yours being related is even cuter.

It's not that big of one, to be honest... They're hard to find, but easy enough to hunt down an egg of... Though I suppose the whole flight part of it might take longer to experience for some people.

Mm, they're definitely both really cute... I didn't think I'd be responsible for raising both of them though. *letting out a tiny sigh as he pets them some more, both of their ears flicking in response when he does*

Riding a dragon is always impressive. Particularly since I don't think there are very many dragon-types that can fly, are there?

...Ah, was one of them supposed to belong to someone else?

Actually, I'm not entirely sure... I only know of two, Dragonite and Salamence... Other than that, I'm not sure what dragon-types capable of flight there are.

--oh. *patting the Espeon now* Mm... This guy here was actually a gift I gave to a friend when he was still an egg. It kind of feels like the son you sent off to see the world coming back before he finished the journey. At least that's the only thing I can compared it to, since Ayu welcomed him with open paws.

And those two take a while to evolve into, as I recall, so at the very least it takes some time to acquire one.

I see. I take it something happened, then?

Mm. They're both high level evolutions, but that's about all I know about them... Dragon-types aren't exactly my specialty.

Ah, well... *small sigh with more pettings* His original trainer went home.

Nor are they mine, but they can be quite interesting~

Ah. I'm sorry to hear that.

A dragon-type is one of the few I actually don't have on my team... Though I'm not in any rush to add one.

Aha... It's fine, really! I'm glad that she got to go home. She has a lot of responsibilities at school and such...

Do you have a lot of Pokemon, then?

Well, that is nice for her. You can be glad for her and still miss at the same time, though, can't you?

Mmm... I don't know if I would call it a lot, but I have thirteen now, with my newest addition.

Maybe, but... Knowing Hinagiku-san, I don't think she would want me to be too upset over it...

That's a pretty good number. Do a lot of training with them?

There's a difference between being upset over it and missing her a bit, I think. Especially right after the fact.

Mm! I train at least six of them everyday. I do a lot of rotation outside of my three main stays though.

There is, yeah... Still, it feels a little selfish to miss her like that when she was so far away, and I only actually saw her in person once since she arrived... Aha... That must seem really silly, huh?

That sounds like a good system. I only have eight, so I don't need to rotate mine quite that much.

Not at all~ [smiles at you.]

It gets a bit tougher the more you have... Especially if you're attached to them. At least I can relax knowing the whole box system seems to be comfortable for them.

*blink blink* Re-really...? I was pretty sure it was something to laugh at...
