MCR!

OMGLIEKWHOAH! I think i just died! I've just gotten back from Birmingham...FROM SEEING MCR! *Flails* Holy shit they are awesome live! Mmm, anyways, review time!

Well, lets start at the beginning. I've been ill all pissing week, and today was the day my cold decided 'Awh hay! Lets, like, totally make Debs feel like complete and utter shite for the concert! A-hurrrr!' So yeah, my head has felt like it was about to explode all day, i've gotten through about 3 boxes of tissues, lots of nosebleeds, and even resorting to using the most foul nasal spray on the face of the planet.

So yeah, i'm feeling shit all damn day, which is putting me in a FOUL mood because i have been waiting for this day since Christmas >_>

Anyway, enough bitching. So, my mates come to pick me up (Matt, Adam, Lou) at 4:45, and we arrived in Birmingham at 6:20 because Matt was so clever as to leave his route guidance at home. Three cheers for Matt! So yeah,we queue as soon as we get there, get in at 7 and buy some food and rush to the merch stall. Me and Lou stood there for ages, and when we finally got there, i got me a Black Parade t-shirt with tour dates on the back of it, and two wrist bands (Pictures tomorrow, can't be assed now). Whilst we were queuing for merch, the support band Thursday started playing, and me and Lou were like '...Meh, whatever' As we really didn't care XD I was surprised when we actually went in though. They put on a good performance but it was a bit screamo DX I don't mind screamo, but not when i'm ill.

Also, going off on one randomly for a moment here. Speak of support bands, does anyone find it simply wrong that Muse are being support for MCR? I know that Muse aren't as popular in America as MCR or whatever, but seriously, Muse will just piss all over MCR's performance. I love both bands, but come on. That's just not right.

So yeah, Thursday played for 40 mins, then fecked off, and about 20 mins later MCR decide to start. Heeeeeere we go!

Gerard gets wheeled onto the stage on the hostpial bed from the Welcome To The Black Parade video, and starts singing 'The End' solo style, no backing, no nothing (omg double negative). Then, the curtain behind him gets pulled back and...I don't think i've ever screamed so hard in all my life. I think my voice broke several times >_>. It was like 'OMG IT'S FRANK! AND BOB! AND MIKEY! AND THE DRUMMER WHO I CAN NEVER REMEMBER THE NAME OF!' So i take to pumping my fist into the air and singing my little heart out. Mmmm, it was goooood! They played through the whole of The Black Parade which was awesome, because that means they played TEENAGERS! The best MCR song known to man. It just makes me laugh.

I also need to point out at this moment, that they came on as The Black Parade (they like to say something like 'MCR can't play tonight, so The Black Parade will play in their place' so they come on all dressed in Black Parade gear and stuff in the persona of a different band and such, if you get that >_>)

So yeah, they played through all of that and they got the audience going well. And Gerard is so sweet. He kept telling everyone on the floor to move back and give themselves some space because people were getting crushed. I have the utmost respect for any band who actually gives a shit about their fans and doesn't want any of them to be crushed and trampled on in a violent mosh pit. Violence is not the answer kiddies!

So they finished up The Black Parade stuff, and went offstage again, leaving us waiting and Blood starts playing in the background (Second most awesome to Teenagers) and everyone starts singing along to that. Then they play the guitar to some song i can never remember the name of behind the curtain, and get the crowd going again when the curtain pulls away to reveal MCR, as MCR. Different outfits, different backdrop. More screaming! XD This time, it was time to play through some songs on Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Sadly they only played a few, but damnit it was fan-fecking-tastic.

Oh yes, and they were slightly drunk i think XD Gerard started singing a song about shoe laces and jumping around the stage making random noises. I LOVE!

They finished up with Helena, and then went for good. Kind of an abrupt finish at 10:30, but hey! They were brilliant. And i am so happy that i've seen them. We came out of the arena and my legs nearly collapsed, i was so exhausted. I didn't stop moving. I would have been jumping, but my balance was all screwy so i just punched the air, swayed frantically and headbanged a little.

Negative point though. They played through each album in chronological order, and didn't spread it out. But otherwise, some serious fun stuff

Got home like an hour ago. After Adam documenting our entire journey out of the carpark (all 45 mins of it DX) we ended up going to the wrong end of Birmingham and we were on our way to Conventry XD I was like 'Uhhhm, Matt? Coventry is up North, we're not going that way' So we had to like find the M5 somehow, and get home asap.

I'm now going to have some mild spasms of glee, and attempt to sleep. I'm not going to school (again) tomorrow, so fuck it, all alarms have been turned off. My voice is going to be non existant and i shall be dead to the world. w00t!

I have never had so much fun. First concert i've ever been to, and it was intense. My head now feels as though it might explode from the loudness of the music, and my cold blocking up my ears like a bitch, but omg, worth it.

I'm intrigued, and this is random, but what do the people on my f-list think of MCR? Love them? Hate them? Honestly, i'm just intrigued. If you hate them, that's cool XD Each to their own. And if you love them, I LOVE YOU! XD Just wondering about opinions.
