I think I have the same one, and it works pretty well since I updated the firmware. I also added my wireless adaptor's MAC address so the router gives my computer full attention. Stops others from using it, even without a password.

Firmware? I feel like an idiot but, how would i go about doing all of that stuff you said? It's driving me mad. It's barely working now >_

I think finding the firmware is the hardest part.

But assuming you can at least get into the router's control panel, you just go to the Tools tab, Update Firmware, browse to the firmware file on your computer, click ok and it pretty much does the rest. You also need to connect by cable and not wireless to update the firmware.

I'll try find the firmware. You're router is called DSL-G624T, right?
