We're flooded again. Even worse than before. 4-5 inches of water outside the front door, it's nearly up to the front door now. Same with the side door and the conservatory door. And all the routes out of Bishops Cleeve are flooded. Great. I had to ring Woolies and tell them I couldn't make the interview ( Read more... )

There was about 1cm of water outside my house when I came home at 11:00, and three hours later...4-5 inches O_O This is stupid weather for July. And it's forecast to rain for like the next 10 days as well ¬_¬

Thanks ^^ My Dad's gonna try and silicone the doors up to stop it coming in O_O

Plug sockets right by the door, don't want all that to fry O_O
Oh Jesus, do be careful OK~ <3

Sucks that you couldn't make the interview, but hey, unfortunately these things just happen. Scheduled for another time, right?

It's been raining nonstop since about 2AM, I'm quite sure.

The lake at the bottom of my garden is gettin really high, I had to run out to check it wasn't going to flood.

/British weather sucks. D=

Yeah I rang them and organised it for Monday instead ^^ Thankfully they understood that I can't actually get into town without swimming

It woke me up last night whenever it started and it was thundering, and yeah, it hasn't stopped since.

I hope you don't get flooded O_O That'd be worse for you if that overflowed.

Yeah, british weather does indeed suck. Oh btw, may have already asked you, but where do you live in Gloucs? Have you got bad flooding there? Trying to see how far spread it is O_O

Oh man, the thundering cut my internet off for like 2 hours last night. >.>

If it floods it won't be so bad. There's a fence right at the bottom of the garden and then it leads to the lake, but all the area around there will be flooded and the farmer wouldn't be happy.
He's asked us to cut off our main pump for the time being until tomorrow afternoon because sewage and stuff has all come his way and has been spilling onto his land. x__X

I live in Worcestershire area, but it's pretty isolated..ish here and not a high level of flood warning, so that's OK I guess.
I'm on the outskirts of Evesham in a place called Offenham.
