29 July 2002, 9:17 PM was the date and time of the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Abeni (pronounced au-ben-ee) Adara Nova Graves, was born 6#12oz, @ 18 3/4". Daddy (teehee...that's me) got to clip the cord, put on her first diaper, give her first bottle and love on her for several hours. He's also got a cool footprint on the back of his hand. well today is the day... we went in last night and she was having contractions about 4 minutes apart.... her BP was 170/100 so they decided to keep her. today her contractions slowed down a little but the doc said that he may induce her anyways because of her blood pressure. oh and it's her birthday!!! double whammy day!!!

well, i'm spending the night in the hospital. her ob/gyn decided to admit her because her BP was 157/98 and woudn't go down for over an hour...if it's toxemia (spelling?) then he may induce her this weekend. doubt if I'll be on tomorrow...i'll try to keep everyone posted. wish us luck.
