I could expect all this nonsense from Draco, but not Harry. Personally, I wonder if he's a Death Eater impersonating Harry. It's not like anyone *made* them talk to you. They've been bothering everyone lately, and Hermione's actually gotten rid of her journal. Oh, well, less fun for them.

All of this has been bothering everyone lately, I've just been trying to keep a low profile, heh. I'm actually going on vacation in a few hours- I'm not sure whether my journal will have been shredded by the time I get back -shrug-
Longbottom, I have NEWT Herbology with the Ravenclaws, but I'm pretty sure we've been set the same homework. Question 14 was about the Bubotuber uses, wasn't it? Come now, we did that in fourth year!

Reading between the lines, all they (Harry and Draco) are saying is, "We (Harry, Luna, Draco, Lucius, and Voldemort) know each other outside of LJ, and we started this as our game, and anyone posting IC posts as other Hogwarts characters on OUR journals is jumping into our game uninvited, and that pisses us off. It also pisses us off that people are stealing our idea. But since we can't say any of this without breaking character, and we know we have no control over all the other people who want to join in the fun, we have to simply put them down as our characters would do."

That the rest of the fans took it as an excuse to jump down peoples' throats is typical of rabid HP fans. We're a nasty bunch. You should see the kind of horrible reviews first-time authors get when their work is posted on deleterius and pottersues. The moderators simply showcase the work, but it's the fans who cruelly go out and abuse the authors. I hope that the minds behind Draco and Harry did NOT enjoy the results of their posts and the vigor of their minions, but maybe

That's almost exactly what I've been telling people who I know are involved, or at least mildly taking an interest in this.

And thank you for your support. I have my own theories as to what that particular group of 5's story is, but I'll keep them to myself.

And as to your suggestion, I need to do some soul searching before I can make up my mind what to do...

Yeah...*shrug* I've dealt with a lot of serious RP groups over the internet...they can be an elitist bunch, but then, so were the groups I was involved in. I might have had the same reaction about interlopers jumping in uninvited at one point- though I would be far more polite about it.

I think it's a mistake to post anything else, even an apology, on Draco's journal. Just leave it alone and don't go there anymore. "Draco" is not a forgiving person and will rail you further. His minions will continue to pester you the more you try to make it right.

Again, remember that Draco & Harry's comments are all IC. Remember that if you're really getting upset over comments made to you while a person's IC, it might be time to step back from RPing for awhile. I hope that helps you in your soul-searching... :)
