Hah, this is what I wrote, but now that I read it back, it makes no sense. Whatever. Just paraphrase it.
"Excessive growth of the money supply is bad for the economy because when consumers have more money to spend, prices will rise accordingly. As the consumers have less and less money to spend, high prices remain, but no one has the funds to pay for them."
