Oh, nothing special. It's really a matter of having the right toys. (1) I drew the pictures by hand first. I drew different versions of the hands and birds using tracing paper. (2) Then I scanned them and then set them up on Photoshop. Photoshop works with layers, so you can easily move bits at a time, without altering the other parts. (3) Each frame I saved as a JPEG, and then I imported them on iMovie and sped them up. (if you don't have a Mac and iMovie, I know there's some kind of freeware available. I hope this helps!
