Oh True Blood S03E02! I desperately need some True Blood icons.
We're still heavy on the Bill this second episode of the season, and it's beginning to settle in that that's not going to change. Stupid Bill. Also, if we're going to keep seeing him like this, I'm going to require a lot more torture.
Jessica and Pam are going to make for an epic vampire/psuedo-maker relationship. By the way, it really got me thinking how much that dead guy is Bill's fault. He didn't teach Jessica how to drink blood at all. He wanted her to subside only on True Blood, but what about when she needed to drink blood? And, hey, Bill said he was subsiding on True Blood alone, but I somehow recall him feeding (on Sookie a lot and others when it suited him). Eric is so devoted to being a good maker, and Bill (despite making noises about being a good guy) couldn't really be bothered to try. I sincerely hope that Jessica is adopted into the Eric and Pam fold, because the girl needs it. And also, Jessica/Hoyt is adorable. He just wants to love her!
Sookie and Eric had lovely scenes. And not just when he was propositioning her. I liked how well they portrayed Eric's confusion about his feelings for Sookie. Like he has emotions and he just doesn't know why. And countered it with Godric's, "don't let your emotions control you". I love Godric. Oh Eric. There's no escape for you! Only lots and lots of sex.
Also, also. I love Jason. And Jason in Hot Shot. And, "Santa?"
Good job, True Blood. Good job.
