As a Joss fan, you can definitely like feel his presence in this movies, especially in a couple of scenes.
So sad to lose Phil. I mean, we all knew someone had to die, but its still so sad. You explained it so well to. I just don't know what the future Marvel movies will be like without him there as a S.H.I.E.L.D. representative. It will be weird to say the least and I am sure whoever they cast to replace him will be hated. :P
