I was so impressed by the fact that they had this woman as not only as a DOCTOR, which is no small feat, but also but in a position of authority. I admit that I would like to see Cuddy get in there and do some "doctoring", so to speak. I wonder what she was like as a doctor, a med student. Obviously she hasn't been "Dean of Medicine" forever, right?
I was elated when House & Cuddy got together. Yay, OTP! Well, secondary OTP because, really, House/Wilson, theirloveissomtb. But I was just waiting for them to hook up. I loved the banter and the back-and-forth and the fact that she could really put House in his place and stand up to him, but also kind of let him go and do what he needed to do, because she KNOWS HIM and she KNOWS that he is a brilliant doctor, and she knows how to trust her instincts when it comes to him, and that is amazing. Before they got together, it felt like they already were in a relationship, you know, minus the sexy sex, because there was so much trust and history and respect there Now What? is an amazing episode and one of my favorites. BUT THEN THEY HAD TO FUCK IT UP. I still honestly don't know what happened. I felt like I was blindsided. Thank you for making us wait like, seven years and then killing the OTP. THANK YOU!
I'm just shocked, and sad at this turn of events here. If Lisa's not happy at her job, and she's in a position where she can change that, then by all means, she should. She's not just an actress, she's a human being. That's her right. And the fact that this is probably all over MONEY makes me so sad. But I'm also proud that hey, if she doesn't feel like she's getting paid what she's worth, then she's willing to stand up for herself and walk away. Good for her. I respect that. I mean, yeah, it's just a TV show, but it's also someone's JOB. They go to work and they get paid, we all do the same thing. I hope they give her a proper goodbye.
