I just did a thorough reorganization of my friends list, and I removed a lot of people. I'd posted a poll in my journal earlier in the week, and if you didn't respond, it's highly likely I took you off my friends list. My friends list was getting to be too much for me to handle, and I didn't see a reason to keep someone on if they aren't ( Read more... )

...I just wanted to apologize for not keeping up with your LiveJournal, and say farewell... as I've been removed from your friends list. Back when I had time to keep up on what you'd been up to, I did really enjoy reading what you wrote... but these days, I can barely find the time to get online thanks to my new job. I just wanted to thank you for being my friend, and remind you that I'll still always be here for you if you ever need anyone to talk to. My cell number is still the same, and I still reply to text messages. *hugs you* Please do take care of yourself, and keep in touch if you wish. :)

I added you back. :] I was actually kind of saddened when you didn't answer the poll because I knew you tried a lot to keep up with people, and I felt unfortunate that you'd stopped reading my journal.

It was very kind of you to put me back on your friends list. Same here! I just didn't feel comfortable keeping people on my friends list if they don't still read my journal. When someone does actively keep up with my journal, I can be sure they use their account regularly and would be likely to know if someone else is accessing it. Since all my posts are protected, limiting my journal to only those people I know read it and I'm comfortable having on my list just makes me feel more secure with it.

So yeah, I added you right back. :)

Well, I'm a dork. I noticed you'd defriended me, but it took me this long to come over and take a look at your journal. I don't recall any such poll, so most likely it was posted during one of my periods of LJ inactivity, and I just didn't see it. I did read your journal, though, FYI.

You absolutely don't have to add me back if you don't want to. I'm not even sure if you're still updating regularly, or reading your friends list. I guess, really, I just felt a little bad about disappearing without a word, and wanted to drop a note to say hi, and best wishes. :)

Don't worry about it. I was quite apprehensive about removing you, and I actually waited extra time to see if you'd come around and answer the poll. You're back on now, yay! :]
