Apart from that, I really don't have much to tell. I've had a busy few days. Did a lot at work yesterday, which was satisfying (and boring....). Put in a productive hour of talking-to-teachers last Thursday: I can hand in a translation I did for a paying client last year for my Legal Translation course, and the last BA essay I have to hand in can be about "anything I want " - making it all a bit easier on me, as I have some presentations lying around that I can easily chop up and rewrite as essays.
Also, met up with
eers - finally! Nice to meet you "officially".
And here are the final quotes from my legal translation class... I shall miss it.
LT teacher: *has to climb on a chair to fiddle with the speaker knobs* Some theologian had switched the speakers off.
LT teacher: *re-enacts Australian beer commercial, involving skipping through the classroom and bending over as if to kiss someone and making kiss-kiss sounds*
LT teacher: I'm sorry my friend the guest-speaker didn't show up. I shall kill her.
LT teacher: *accepts our whip-round cash for his schoolbuilding charity* Thank you so much! That'll buy another building brick.
