What's in a name.webtarJanuary 25 2006, 00:09:32 UTC
AS FAR as the job thing...Do you really want to work somewhere that's not going to hire you for your name? I know I don't. My dad told me I would never get anywhere with a legal name of Webly (too bad it had been my name for 10 years prior and I had gotten to do some pretty awesome stuff in school.) He said I would be picking up architects' garbage. If anything, it's been positive having a unique name because people tend to remember you better. There are many Joe's and John's out there, so many so I had numbered my friends named John
( ... )

Oh wait. I forgot the part where we both ended up changing out names but I changed my first name legally. Sunshine goes by Alex now. You know her too? Many different names. I wonder what her FBI file says.

well i don't know her but i have my copies of Stolen Sharpie Revolution and A Hundred Dollars and a T-Shirt, as well as two issues of Brainscan and one of Touched By an Anvil. so i sort of know you guys from those things, i suppose. i've never talked to your sister, though.
remember when i was trying to decide between Cometboy and some other name for my LJ, and you said something like 'go with the other one, your time as cometboy is over' ? hehe, guess again!
