My mother hates cooking. It's amazing that our family was ever able to survive all these years with my mother's non-passion for anything food. I used to hate eating my mother's pho every week, because every time she makes it, she makes it so that we'll have it every single meal for the entire week. Made me sick, but after not having it for a while, I do miss it. And it IS delicious!

So now I gotta ask - would she be willing to share her egg roll recipe as well? :D
And most chefs in general don't measure either. It's all by instinct and taste. PASTRY chefs on the other hand, measure every goddamn thing. XD

Of course I can get that egg roll recipe. I think there's a couple different ways my mother makes it for the family. It involves switching out a few ingredients and replacing some others, but both recipes are very unique.
LOL I had a feeling that most chefs don't measure; it makes sense.
That's probably why I never made any pastry items, requires too much measuring. And if I DON'T measure, it doesn't feel right D:
