awww. The proper thing to say to her would be, "Stop being a bitch, at least my daughter doesn't have a disability." or perhaps "Shut up and get on the ride before I give you a disability too." Either of those responses would have made everything all better. hahaha

This incident fits very nicely into my there are alot of dumb people out there theory, I like to laugh at them as supposed to getting upset about it, because they sure as hell aren't going to get any smarter. I'm glad things went better for you as the day went on, tomorrw will be better I'm sure.
