Cannot believe that my age group still thinks "What's a pretty thing like you in a place like this?" is a viable pick-up line.
... cannot believe I was just picked-up.
Man is: quaint, reminiscent of that sweet retired man from Wheel of Fortune, does not smell like medicine and fermented urine, sharply dressed, just bought me luncheon on the Amtrak back from SYRACUSE?!
Will allow Sidney his time, then. He also just offered to go to the

such entries, found that McLaughlin has surprises. Anser a cranky wreck aside, I -- well, I have never been so utterly disappointed.
It is good to see that most of our community reaped the benefits of Valentine's. Romance is not usually something I really associate with the holiday anymore, what with late husbands and most men my age being riddled with dementia, etc., but I was able to visit my youngest child in Syracuse and her children so that she and the husband could enjoy an evening or two alone on the town. The sweetest thing was that both of my grandchildren made Valentines versus those boxed things, and although they had a certain amount of... well, they were sweet, at any rate.
But, as it were, it seems that even those with AARP cards can occasionally find invitations to afternoon tea at Bergdorf Goodman's. He's terribly sweet, even though it has just been proven that when he nods off on public transportation (the swaying of train tracks seem to be his tranquilizer), he snores and dribbles a bit. But considering the state of my age group, that's altogether impressive.
I know, the either of you probably don't know me, but you two seem to be most close to Pearl Fisher. I hope as much as anyone that she isn't in whatever facility, health care center, or whatever place her family's placed her in at all, but... if it takes longer than it should, I would like to know what Pearl likes, as I fully intend to give her a care package. The fact that she's in a place that she doesn't deserve is horrible enough, but I feel as if she needs a bit of hope if she has to be there longer than anyone can abide.
Besides, if she leaves earlier than expected, it can be a Welcome Home Package, and I think that would be just as nice for her to recieve.
