The Whuppie brings tidings of funerals.

Bradley, although I hardly consider terming "my old lady friend" passing on as "kicking the bucket" to be the most tactful thing to say in terms of Dottie and her passing, your sentiment is ultimately with the best of intentions.

Of course, opening my entry with informing the community that Dottie Fairchild has passed this weekend is not necessarily speaking of my tact in the entire matter, but there we are. This is written with great regret, of course; the loss of anyone, regardless of circumstances, is always terrible news to convey to a community, no matter how small or large. As stated before, I am of a firm belief that this is not the forum for me to speak of Dottie, as these books are, more or less, a ground of gossip-mongering and not of proper memoriam. Yet, for those who might have known Dottie before her stay at Rosemary Acres, allow me to enclose the following information:

The viewing and funeral will be at St. John's Lutheran Church at 81st Christopher Street; viewing will be on Tuesday from 12:00 - 6:00 P.M. and the funeral on Wednesday starting at 10:00 A.M. I will attempt to answer questions as is needed and prudent, but I will warn the community in advance that as I am assisting in the preparation of the burial, I am not the easiest to get a hold of in this situation. Thank you for your patience during this time.
