It's Mark's responsibility to get the box to you, why can't he just mail it (and pay for it) himself?

Actually, when he signed up for this round, Kathy agreed to pick it up from him (his being a starving student and all).

When I mailed it, postage was more than fifteen but less than twenty.

He could take BART (he can afford a round trip bart ticket, no?) to Hayward on Wednesday night. Buy you dinner and drop off the box. What do you think?

Hrmmm, before he lived right near a Bart...is there a Bart connection close to the Haight?? I dunno,,,

Of course it sounds great to me! Wonder if Mark will even see this, though....he's not one for responding in type alot!

A very helpful idearey though, thank you!

Even if he doesn't live NEAR a bart station, he could certainly take a bus to the station.

I realize there was an agreement made prior to the box being sent out this round but it's been on its way to him, waiting at his parents' house and now sitting idle for over a month now, I believe. It would be great if he could be a little bit more proactive in the box drop.

Just my two cents...

That's really all I meant by my previous comment. Kathy seems to have made every effort to get the box from Mark...he knew when he signed up that he'd have to pass the box on one way or another...and he needs to follow through on that and not just STOP because it's easier.

My two cents. I'll butt out now. :)

He's welcome to drop it with me, however I will not go pick it up.

Mark - I think you should seriously consider dropping out of the next round. No one will go before or after the same person as before and you're running out of 'drop' options. Next round you'll have to pay for postage. It's only fair to everyone else.
