I need to go shopping.

- Bedsheets
- Board games (Life, Monopoly?)
- Ice cream
- .357 158 Gr. Hydra-Shock rounds

There doesn't seem to be very many cars, around. Is that normal?

Of course. It would be negligent of me not too, and foolish. I worked for an agency at home that monitored and, if needed, contained superhuman threats in a world where they were not "outed" to the public, you might say. I wish I could offer more than simply this report, but my daughter is here in the City, and my first priority is being her dad.

I'd appreciate it if no one had to know about how you came to get this information. I'd like to keep my daughter safe from worrying.

His name is Gabriel Gray, and took on the name Sylar when he began his career as a serial killer. He's an evolved human, originally having an ability known as intuitive aptitude. It allows him to kill and "steal" the superhuman abilities from others. At the most recent point that I can report on, he'd stolen the following abilities:

Telekinesis
Cryokinesis
Eidetic memory
Metal liquification
Enhanced Hearing
Precognition
Radiation manipulation
It's possible that there are more, if he's come from a time ahead of me, and if he's continued with his hunting here ( ... )

Understood. Thank you very much for this information- I'll pass it along to the Intel department of the force, and let people know to keep their eyes open if something like that were to come to pass.

Radiation manipulation and precognition, what sort of world-

I'm guessing there's little information on how to stop him.

As far as the source of the information, while it may be necessary to let the department head of Intel know, I can assure you of her discretion, and we will do our best to not concern Miss Claire with your involvement.

Shooting him works.

Suppression of his powers - he's not much for combat or marksmanship without them. The enhanced hearing can be used to an opponent's advantage by overloading and causing him a lot of pain and disorienting him. Ceasing to react to him helps, too. He thrives on the attention.

I understand, of course. If you do run into any problems with him, don't hesitate to contact me. I have experience with him, after all.

Well, shooting's simple enough. And if he thrives on attention, maybe...

Ah. That's very helpful, thank you.

Of course. I shall do that, although hopefully it'll be unnecessary.

[ooc; I had an epic battle with code ;; it took us an hour to figure out that the reason nothing was working was because the machine itself is buggered D:]

Hopefully.

Thank you. I'm glad to see something going on here, in any event.

I wouldn't say confidence, Miss Hawkeye. And that's not a dig. It's simple fact; I only just arrived, and haven't seen anything to judge you on. However, I'd rather make a show of good faith in the interests of protecting my family and this place than waste time evaluating you. I figure if you have the spine to try and hash out protection and justice in a place like this, then there's got to be something there.

And there are some who would judge based on their prior experiences at home, with a police force corrupted or otherwise useless, and deem the police too ineffective to act. It's for the confidence to come to us in the first place that I gave my thanks, whether or not you can truly say you can trust the force or not. I'd hardly expect anyone upon their first arrival to have full confidence in the institutions of the City.

We have a good group of people working in the police here. We cannot prevent everything, but the more information, the more we can act quickly in the face of whatever the City throws at us.

Some of us are experienced in life enough to know that no two situations are the same. And this certainly isn't any familiar situation.

Thank you. For working as you do.

For anyone, I would hope.

It's my duty.
