Jovi is almost 9 mths and she's close to walking. She weighs 17lbs now. She likes to hold on to things with one hand and walk. She's learnt to actually wave now instead of just sticking her hand up in the air at you. She says "woah" and "ow". She's definatly a character ( Read more... )

omg, hard to believe she's almost 8 mths. Just a few more days. That fourth tooth is almost all the way in. Her new thing is gritting her teeth, which is so annoying and i've been told that i can't get her to stop. She knows she has teeth now and its a phase that she will get past ( Read more... )

Jovi is cutting 2 teeth already!! One has poked through a bit but the other was hasn't but it looks like it will soon. She's doing really well though, not acting fussy at all. We didn't know she was cutting teeth until we looked in her mouth after she wacked her gums with a toy and saw that the gums had split.

Just a quick check in to say that on March 5th i turned 20 and 3 days ago Jovi said her first words, mama, dada and bubba. I literally cried when i heard her say it.
She had her 6 mth check up and she weighs 15.11 oz, 25.5 inches and her head is in the 60th percentile for head circumference.

We've had a busy week!! Yesterday we bought a mini van in excellent condition. We bought Jovi bigger clothes, bigger carseat (which she loves already) and a new walker ( Read more... )

I don't know if i've mention this but Jovi is sitting up on her own for short amounts of time, feeding herself ( trys to feed herself with her spoon as well but i help her still because if not baby food flung everywheres ) and burps herself. Definatly getting to be ms. independant ( Read more... )
