jack's mannequin 7/29 update.
so yesterday was probably the best show i've ever been to. now i always expect a lot from jack's but with the oar tour, i was worried that the limited setlist and big venue would make for a worse show..umm i was wrong to say the least.
we drove 2 hours to the merriweather place andddd first we went to this big mall thing and i bought uggs, not the tall kind but sort of mocassin-loafer-ish for like half off it was cool. anywayyyy then we went to the venue and saw a bunch of tailgating drunk kids and i was like OHSHIT THIS IS GOING TO SUCK. but anyway we went in and saw the caspinator and said hi casper and he was like hey wait here blablabla. and then he dissapeared and we waited and got bit by a lot of bugs. then casp comes back like half an hour later like..follow me. so we did and he was like "yeah so we're combining the meet and greet with this dc101 acoustic thing." and i was like ORLY?!?!?! not just a regular orly but a really excited orly. so we go to this tiny bar thing and go right up like 5 feet away from the stools where bob and andrew were going to play. we waited a few minutes and then they showed up and started playing ... my pictures are kindof shotty because of the bizarre 5 second delay my camera has gotten.

OK THAT'S THE LAST SHOW PIC. i actually didn't mean for that to be in caps anyway. so then we got to meet and greet and bob was sweaty. and i was first haha so i was like hi braw and he was like YO *WIPES SWEAT* and thennn andrew came up like HEYYY. and i was like HEYY WHATSUP and he was like nothing. and then i was like do you know what jmchat is in he was like yup im aware very aware. then i showed him the sign i made for them and he was like lolz. so then we took a pic and it was rly cool. we had to leave right after meeting them or whatev because my phone kept ringing. someeeetimes my friends are dumb but they didn't know. anyway then i was like OK BYE CASP BYE DREW BYE BOB and casper said we'd see them all later.
i don't even know why he did thumbs up? but he did so i did too.
casper looks like a bear.
umm so then we walked a round and saw jon and he walked right past me. but he was on the phone and came back like hey. and we were like heyyy but my brother had the camera then so we didn't take a pic, i told him we'd do it later and he was like kcool. and then we saw some annoying girls and stabbed them in the throat but not rly. and i bitched at my brother and sister because they were annoying. soooo if anyone saw me beign a bitch i'm rly not k. and then jack's came on and oh my god i started crying when he started playing "bruised" it was just like. he's in this big venue, he's playing his heart out, the guys are looking great as always, but andrew. andrew has gone so far over the past year. he's so incredibly healthy and happy looking and he played better than i've ever seen. i basically cried during the whole set, drunk oar fans prob thought i was insane but it was an emotional thing. and oh my fucking god ktm and mfeo were amazing. like more amazing than everytime i've heard them but. airwaves. my favorite song of course, and the one that gets me the most. the lyrics "so hang on, it's gonna be a hard day. so hang on, don't panic, don't panic there simply is no need" have gotten me through so much in the past year, and just hearing him sing them was extraordinary. at the end he repeated "it's gonna be a hard day" a few times and i basically sobbed my fucking eyes out.
ok so after the AMAZING set i was like omgomgomomggomg i need to tell him how amazing he was. casper said the guys would be out but after like an hour of waiting and walking around he texts me and says they probably wont because the guys have family here. i wasn't that mad because i only missed jaymac.. but whatever. casp apologized and it was rly sweet. so then we left and i was really happy and i basically can't wait for cary.
