DC Reboot/relaunch art post

What we really need is to discuss some of the costume/art changes that are coming in September. I bring this gem.

I miss Tim's cowl now. And his luscious locks.

Yeah, I mean, I never thought I'd miss the condom hood, but this makes it look positively stylish!

lol FOR REAL. Its like they remembered Dick's old Nightwing costume and were like 'TIM NEEDS FEATHERS NOW.'

They are the return of the 90s. And not the good part of the 90s.

lol yeah. I'm assuming you were talking about the guy in the upper right corner. Yup, that's Tim.

TBH the characters had a lot of red in their outfits to begin with but ugh just no thanks =/

Yeah they did...but they just made their outfits worse.

The fact that Rob Liefeld can still get work has got to be a sign that the economy is turning around. I can't think of any other possible explanation.

But yeah, the Titans redesign is especially bad. I mean, I know Tim's codename is Red Robin, but is there any particular reason he has feathers? And who are those other characters - smoke girl and spider girl? It's like the 90's all over again.

I kept asking myself that after I saw he was going to be the artist for Hawk & Dove. I was like 'HOW DOES ROB LIEFELD KEEP GETTING WORK?!'

I think the feathers is just someone remembering Dick's old Nightwing costume. They thought the feathers needed to be brought back.
