(1) RTD got rid of Torchwood London in a Doctor Who ep (before Torchwood the series started). T Glasgow is just one guy, Archie, who seemed to be old and may well have died. -taffimai

(2) Highly classified superexplosive (not specified as C4)-taffimai. Assumed that because it was underground, there were gas and electric lines running by the facility that ignited. -lanchid

(1) Oh. Okay, I didn't know that. I am not a regular watcher of Dr. Who - in fact, I haven't seen any of the episodes since David Tennant left, and only a few with him in them.... I would think that the one old guy would have felt obligated to find a successor before he retired / died (think Abin Sur and the Green Lantern ring...), just like that guy who killed himself left Jack in charge of Torchwood Cardiff ( ... )
