I'm Taking Off
So Thursdays are Music days, and today I thought it would be timely to discuss what we've heard so far from Nick's next solo album! The video for his first single, Just One Kiss, has been posted as well as a clip of Burning Up which was played on the BSB cruise. Below are clips of Not the Other Guy and Falling In Love Again:
To be honest, I was starting to wonder whether we were ever going to get another album after Now or Never. Suffice it to say, the sound of I'm Taking Off is going to radically different. I really enjoyed Now or Never, although I think it's pretty obvious how much Nick has grown in the time since then, vocally, musically, and personally. And while I have enjoyed what I've heard so far, I have to say...I find it a little bit bland. And I have to question whether he's really finding his niche or just trying to follow the trend, and where this is going to take him as a solo artist. Thoughts?
