My first post for 60 days. Lost the will to write with so much going on. But then there's Charlie (my name for him) the urban Red Fox who I have been feeding now for 36 days. He had signs of mange which I have treated with Psorinum for 9 days and now he looks much better. He is however so elusive that I seldom see him take his food, but it's gone ( Read more... )

Good to see you back! The fox vid is nice, good to see it enjoying your patio furniture. :-)

I remember one time, over a decade ago, I was going to let our poodle out the front door to wander around and do her business. Turned on the front porch light, opened the door: storm door still closed, and there were three raccoons on the porch! We stared at each other long enough for me to get my camera and take a few frames. Fortunately my dog's eyesight wasn't what it used to be and she didn't start barking or lunge at them.

I hope your nerve entrapment problem is improved.

Thank you Wayne. Charlie is a welcome distraction. The nerve entrapment has improved, albeit marginally. Nice story about the racoons!

He's making himself comfortable. I love the wild critters too. We have a racoon who likes to climb up on the bird feeder.

We experienced deep snowfall this afternoon. Charlie managed to dig his food from the snow, this evening. He means a lot to me.

I think so too. He comes for food every day despite the weather, which presently is very cold!
