[Medli is confused, certainly. She's somehow been abandoned on the mountain of a totally unfamiliar land, her harp is gone, it's morning, and it's snowing. Still, she doesn't let any of that that stop her from gathering what's left of her things, the journal, and her courage to set out for a goal

[It seems to take a moment for what Link says to even register, but when it does, she scrambles over to the side of the cliff to look down on who's speaking. She didn't think she'd actually see someone else out here! Someone else who's been kidnapped?

But when she looks down and sees that familiar green tunic, those long ears, that blonde hair... a million thoughts rattle around in her brain at once, along the lines of: When did you get so much bigger? Wow, how long have I been away from home? I hope everything's alright there... but, Link, why are you here?

All that comes out instead is:] Link?!

[The cliff isn't enormously high, but Link is still a little hard to hear, so she continues yelling down to him to make sure she can be understood:] Yes, Link! I guess it's been a while! Or I'm just not very memorable, I suppose! But don't you at least remember Drag-

[Ugh this is killing her throat] Actually, hold on a moment, Link! I'll be right down!

[Good, because by come right down, she means she's going to jump off the edge. She starts flapping her arms right away, to her credit... but unfortunately, she's yet to realize those are her filial wings attached. Uh oh.

So there's now a 90-pound girl rapidly hurtling toward you, Link. What do you do?!]

[Catch her catch her catc- he doesn't catch her. She makes her landing in the snow nearby with a soft thump, beak-first, seemingly unconscious but for some snow-muffled mumbling. That's probably not good either.]
