I'm going to take AP English next year, I found out today. That's nice, considering the fact that I'm not really that great in English class, but it was also based on my PSAT scores, which were as high as a kite on airskates

Never do the same song three times in a row, there's this one girl who just does Speed Over Beethoven on beginner all three times everytime she plays, and she's terrible at it still. You should be lucky there were no amazingly good people there. It's fun to impress people :)
It's very easy to attract people and to impress them :P I got a round of applauds for getting a C on Max300 e_e;;;;;;;;;;;; I'm like, dudes, wake up, that sucked! lol
And yea, never repeat the same song in a set, UNLESS... A) You tried to AA/AAA it and missed barely, and you want to give it another shot (I do this semi-often) B) You're trying to AAA it in a set C) You're completely whoring the song for a tournament (i.e. my love/hate relationship with Gradiusic Cyber). Even then you should just play it once every round and not every song.
It truly perturbed me when these two n00bs (no offense to beginners, I was one, a bad one at that :D) played Witch Doctor ALL THREE SONGS, EVERY SET THEY PLAYED. AHHHH!!! My ears were bleeding. Not to mention they ruined the machine's Player's Best (not that it was any good anyway =\)
Congrats to you, Tasha, for your first time passing Speed Over Beethoven trick! ^_^ Transitioning from basic to trick (or light -> standard) was a royal pain in the arse for me >_>

I never played on beginner, thankfully. Those who do tend to cling to it too much.
I'm still trying to do well on heavy. For some reason I can't do crossovers very well.

Yea, but now I've gotten a B and am extremely frustrated by the fact I have the PA for and A but get so many misses that I still get a B. grr...
