It's cold as fuck tonight, and after snowing all night I'm supposed to wake up to sleet/freezing rain. No thanks. No amount of weather forecasters cheerily calling such a precipitation nightmare "wintry mix" can improve my mood about it ( Read more... )

I love this post so much for some reason. It made me super happy... I'm really feeling that synthetic-hypoallergenic-down right now. I've got one myself, but I bet yours is better. Mine's comfort is compromised by the not-as-cold but much damper and yuckier Seattle winter air.

Awesome. I think I'm going to PR over jesus weekend. Not sure if I'll be in San Juan or Vieques, but if there's a game going on nearby, I definitely want to check it out.

Have a good time! The wifey would be very envious were she to know you're escaping to warmer climes. Flights to Nicaragua over xmas are way too expensive, so we're stuck in the states for the holidays.

Last year on the 24th I stayed up all night, throwing fire crackers at the neighbors with my brother-in-laws. Might do the same this year when I'm home for the holidays in Ohio.
