vacation RULZ. r. and i keep saying we're just going to take off for a weekend in puerto rico, but do we do it? no.

anyhow, have fun. i think there's some kinda serious underground grindcore scene there, and also el yunque, if you like tropical rainforests...

El yunque is high on our list, because even though I'm a little uncomfortable with nature walks, what could be cooler than a tropical rainforest? I've never been to one, and A. loves it, so I think it's on, provided that we stay in/near San Juan instead of heading to the islands on the east (vieques, culebra).

I'll keep you posted, and urge you and R. to get on the plane and GO!

I went to Alicia's wedding in Old San Juan which was like a wierd version of old city. I would get out of the city. Makes you feel more like you're out of gringoland. I was one night in Vieques in a wierd honky motel right on the beach. I ate sixty different dishes that were all made out of plantains, yucca, and pork.
