Has anyone seen The Slits in their revamped "reunited" lineup? They're playing tonight in Philly and I'm not sure if it's worth going. As if reunion shows weren't already weird enough, this is only half a reunion. I mean, The Slits were amazing, but at this point it's just Ari Up (original singer) and Tessa Pollitt (the original bassist) with

i was gonna go tonight, but i'm at home with TV and cider and livejournal instead. i was SO SIKED on ANY slits show, and particularly the weird half-assedness of it...but here i am, not at the show. so: good or not, that's my story.

i wanted to go, but i had to work. i was curious in a more or less identical way though. i read a review of that e.p. they just put out that said it's not so good. oh well. sometimes it's kinda cool to just see people like that though. i saw lee scratch perry a few months back, and a lot of the songs were guitar-ed up in a way that sounded like sublime or some shit like that, but it was still cool to watch perry move around and shit.
