NEW YORKERS!
I am on a quest for Karibbean Flavours Vintage West Indian Pepper Sauce, and I need your help.
About a year ago I bought this at my favorite local Trinidadian roti shop, and yesterday the bottle ran out. I went back to the store and they didn't have it. I googled the manufacturer, Karibbean Flavours of Trinidad, and emailed them to see where I could get it. I didn't really expect a reply.
Six hours later, the company president wrote me back!

I am sorry to inform you that I do not know of any retailers in Philadelphia and
I do not have a distributor in Plilly.
If you can get to Queens in New York you can find it on Liberty Ave in the Korean
stores.
It will be too expensive to sell directly. I will inform you if i get any information.

So, any of you New Yorkers (especially you couple of Queens residents) anywhere near said "Korean stores" on Liberty Ave? If so, and you don't mind looking when you get the chance - don't make a big mission out of it or anything - I would be eternally indebted to you for postal delivery of this delicious sauce! All expenses covered, of course! Favors returned per your instructions!
