It was...really nice to go back to Tazmily after so long. Guess I didn't realize how much I missed it until I was there again, and then it hit me.

So I don't have a date for homecoming either, but that's not stopping me! It just means I don't have to dress up for anyone and no I'm NOT wearing Ionia's clothes thank you very much Lucas. Course, I' ( Read more... )

Um... what would you suggest one do if they happened to be his roommate?

Oh jeez.

Uhh...well I doubt he's gonna eat you in your sleep or anything if he's really trying to fool everyone into thinking he's just a normal student. Just keep an eye on your stuff in case he gets the urge to chew?

Er... that's comforting. I think. What if he gets out of control? If he's as bad as you say, I probably shouldn't try to fight him?

Yeah, you'll want to RUN. If he for some reason goes back to being a chimera.

I don't know about his human form since his mouth doesn't take up like 90% of his body this way so you actually might have a good chance. You were at the dojo, right? You could probably take him with a weapon.

Ultimate Chimera...

!

That's why it seemed so familiar! I... Don't ask how, but I have access to some notes about it, and... ergh. I don't know he seems kind of stupid but in an endearing way

Don't ask how? Aheh...ok.

Yeah, looking at his journal, it's a relief to know I'm not the only one without wool pulled over my eyes.

That's why it's ultimate, yknow? Must be what it was made for, 'cause that's what it's best at.

But hey, Lucas. Try not to worry too much, ok? We'll just keep a watch on him for now. I doubt he's very sneaky about what he does.

The headmasters probably don't know a thing about it. "Ulty" looks like every other student now, like, I don't know, a Pokemon looks like every other student. I bet they don't really care much either, to be honest.

You can outrun it. As long as you've got a good head start.

C'mon, now. I spent some time with the Chimera in Tazmily - they're not the monsters that people seem to think they are. They're just creatures that have been butchered and hurt and they're angry. With every right to be, you want my opinion. None of 'em can help what they've become. And this.. Ultimate one probably isn't any different.

I've spent more than just "some time" with every chimera the Project's ever made and not once have I seen proof they're anything but monsters. Sorry, but that's just how messed up they are now. I don't like it either.

Look, it's cool how your heart's in the right place and all, but if you knew this one like I do you'd be singing a different tune right about now. If it ever had a brain to think with, it never showed it before now. Back in the labs you couldn't try talking to it. It would mutilate attack you on-sight.

Monster is a subjective term. Maybe your experiences were all bad and I'm sorry to hear that - believe me, last thing I wanna do is argue the point with you.

Maybe it had no reason to show you it had a brain or feelings? Why would it? Stuck in the lab, I'm assuming, where it was 'made'. Would you grace your captors and tormentors with any show of intelligence or feeling? I know I'd wanna hurt someone too.

Fact is it's here now, it's talking to people and it might be turned around with some understanding and care. Just... seems kinda unfair to turn people against it right off the bat.

I've just never heard of anyone having a GOOD experience with one...

...maybe it was incapable of showing intelligence or feelings. But the fact of the matter is that it was dangerous, all the time, without question. And that gave it a bad rap. ...whether it deserved it or not, I guess.
I'm only giving them a heads-up in case it hasn't changed at all.

Pokey, Porky, it's the same kid either way. As for where he is, I don't know and I don't really care either. Ask around if you want to know so badly.
