nice scene fill, thank you for writing and sharing...personally I wasn't that bothered by it because of the Arthur confronting Gaius scene...I thought it showed Arthur was truly listening to Merlin and believing him/trusting him now when Merlin offered his seemingly as-usual-crazy-Merlin explanation for things to the King, Arthur showed control over his emotions, or else he was in too much state of shock and rather then having a childish outburst in front of the court, was going to find a way to legally free Merlin by finding the real culprit now that everyone else thinks the problem is resolved by Merlin's arrest. Of course the sad result of Arthur being knocked unconscious and the whole donkey thing just goes to show Arthur that he really does need Merlin at his side. Also I think the main reason the writers left so much out of the show is so the fans can have fun writing fill fiction!

LOL. I suppose this is true. I've seen fiction handle aspects of the show better than the writers could ever hope too. :P

BTW, I am still desperately waiting for your update on the "Those nights belong to us". You are going to update it SOON, right? It will break my heart if there is no latter part of that EPIC story.

im glad you like my fic so much. unfortunately, I'm having some trouble with parts of it... I'm hoping putting it to the side for a while will help the writers block. in the meantime i have a lot of other merlin/arthur fics in mind so lets see...there wILL be a next part im just not sure WHEN :( sorry...

Oh, as long as we will have it, I will be happy. But I do hope SOON. But I can understand the wait and I DO respect your seriousness about your work very much. It ensures the quality of the story which is exactly why your story is EPIC.
